VOLUNTEER
Red Sweater Project's long-term volunteer program is designed to provide meaningful, sustained support to our professional teaching staff while directly enriching the educational experience of our students. Volunteers play an integral role in addressing resource gaps, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative teaching approaches that complement and strengthen local practice. The result is a genuine exchange — one in which both international volunteers and Tanzanian educators grow professionally through collaboration and shared experience.
At Red Sweater Project, we believe that lasting impact is built on mutual respect, a deep regard for local knowledge and effort, and a shared commitment to the students we serve. Volunteers who join our team become part of that mission — contributing their skills while learning from the community around them, and helping to create educational experiences that are transformative for students and educators alike.
